An exhibition capturing the sense of the seasons ☀️Summer Edition <Mind Tactility> When we remember a certain moment for a long time, we recall not only the scene of that time but also the senses. Like the warm sunshine, the feeling of the wind, and the texture that touched the fingertips. <Mind Tactility> is an exhibition that expresses the senses and memories of nature encountered in daily life through fabrics and objects. We suggest a time to look at familiar objects and moments with a new perspective, experience them with your fingertips, and record them in your own way. This summer, 공업사 will run a participatory pop-up store and various workshops along with the exhibition. Leave the senses of summer as small memories in your daily life through the process of seeing, touching, and making them yourself. 🍃 Pop-up Store A space to meet familiar daily life with new senses At the pop-up store, you can choose fabric pieces that touch your heart and make items that contain your own small story. Pieces of the Day / Staying (Wall Poster) / Walk (Eco Bag) / Care (Pouch) Choose one of the four themes and combine fabric pieces of various colors and textures to complete your own work. In addition, you can continue the senses felt in the exhibition in your daily life through planned products containing the seasonality of summer. 🐝 Opening Workshop Bee Dance: Making Beeswax Wrap On August 8th, we will hold an opening workshop to open the beginning of 《Mind Tactility》 together. When bees find a new food or home, they dance an 'eight-figure dance (Bee Dance)' to inform their colleagues of the location. Inspired by the way nature is connected to each other, we contained the meaning of small movements leading to another connection. In this workshop, you will select scrap fabrics yourself and apply natural beeswax to make your own beeswax wrap. This is a creative workshop where you can express your favorite colors, memorable landscapes, and moments left in your heart with fabric pieces. By combining fabrics of various colors and textures, you can complete your own summer landscape and take the work in a frame.
