Artist Kim Nam-kyung's 'Ceramic Zoo', which shapes clay to capture the appearance of animals and nature, presents a new exhibition "Caution: Wild Animals" at Gongupsa.
"Caution: Wild Animals" is an exhibition that portrays wild animals that are not free from human influence. Animals, which were once a part of nature, now adapt and live amidst human traces, telling a story that humans and animals are deeply connected beings. In this exhibition, you can meet not only animals of cities and forests but also mysterious and colorful creatures in the deep sea.
A raccoon playing among abandoned materials,
A zebra shark swimming with a plastic bag.
Even the animals of the deep sea and forests are not free from human influence.
We are in a relationship where we need to be careful of each other.
We hope you have time to rethink the relationship between humans and nature through the animals expressed in ceramics. This July, meet the new works of Ceramic Zoo at Gongupsa.
