Poeun Cultural Festival

The Poeun Cultural Festival, an autumn historical and cultural festival honoring the life and noble spirit of Teacher Poeun Jeong Mong-ju, is being held in Yongin! 🍂 This year marks the 620th anniversary of Teacher Jeong Mong-ju's Cheonjang (state funeral relocation), and a more abundant and majestic journey unfolds under the special theme of 'Poeun's Breath - Connecting 620'. The 'Cheonjang Parade', where you can experience the colorful yet solemn history of the Joseon Dynasty's state funeral procession first-hand, and the traditional memorial ceremony form the core of the festival. There are also plenty of interactive programs to experience traditional history and culture with all five senses. Enjoy the joy of dynamic learning with the whole family through the reenactment of the civil service examination for children, 'Challenge! Little Zhuangyuan (Top Graduate)', the Poeun School where you can wear Confucian scholars' clothes and learn, Goryeo and Joseon costume experiences, traditional makgeolli making, and pottery wheel experiences. ✨
