전시 소개
The exhibition 《ikkibawikrrr: The Stone Living Backwards》, which deals with the Maitreya and the surrounding ecological landscape that have been forgotten over a long period of time, is held at the Jeonnam Museum of Art. ⛰️
Visual research band ikkibawikrrr (Go Gyeol, Cho Jieun) focuses on the landscape of Maitreya, which reveals vitality because it has been abandoned and neglected. Meet the video and sculpture works that escape the speed of modernity and restore nature's own flow.
From the <Tracing> work, which tactilely reinterprets the sensations the artists felt while tracing cold stone statues with charcoal, to <Dancing with Garbage>, which captures the dance of dust and garbage in the ruins, you can discover the possibility of deep comfort and connection breathing within the alienated landscapes of everyday life. ✨
