A special exhibition unfolds at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art, reinterpreting craft language in a contemporary way! 📚 Starting from the perspective of traditional funeral culture, 《The Path That Continues Even After Vanishing》 reinterprets and presents the meaning of the bier (sangyeo) and kkokdu (wooden figurines). Artist 김아야 sculpts hills, paths, and flowing spaces using warm and colorful textile materials such as wool felt, organza, and Hanji. Along that path, symbolic animals crafted in ceramics by artist 김예슬—such as horses, chickens, carps, giraffes, and cranes—are vividly arranged. The different material properties of fiber and ceramics meet within a single beautiful landscape, sensuously revealing the boundary between life and death, presence and absence.
