On October 8, 2026, the theater company 극단적즐거움's play <The Maids> will be on stage at the Space Small Theater near Daeyeon Station in Busan! 🎭
This is a newly reinterpreted production of French master Jean Genet's representative work <The Maids> through director Kim Hak-jun's bizarre and distorted aesthetics. Set in Madame's luxurious room, the jealousy and anger of the maids wriggling within are expressed through animalistic and intense physical movements, delivering a tight tension to the audience.
Experience the collapsed mental world of the maids physically through the deformed furniture, costumes, and extreme lighting contrasts on stage. We invite you to the cruel yet fascinating night ritual completed by the three actors: Gil Soo-kyung, Lee Hyun-ju, and Im Min-kyung. ✨
